Mindful Warrior Alliance Suicide Prevention Program
24/7 screening, crisis navigation, and safety planning for high-risk military-connected individuals.
We serve those least likely to reach out — including Special Operations Forces, Intelligence Community members, and caregivers — through a confidential, trauma-informed, paper-free pathway to immediate crisis support.
Why It Matters
Why It Matters
Why It Matters Every day, an average of 17 veterans die by suicide (VA, 2025). The need for trauma-informed, confidential, and accessible care has never been greater—especially for special operations forces, intelligence personnel, male veterans aged 18–44, and military caregivers, who are statistically less likely to seek traditional mental health support. Our goal is to reach and support 450 military-connected individuals per year with proactive suicide prevention services.
Family building stress—including infertility, pregnancy loss, and postpartum complications—only compounds the psychological burden. The added layers of grief, anxiety, shame, and isolation are especially acute for military families navigating these challenges while managing operational tempo, PCS moves, and medical systems that often fall short.
If you’ve been hesitant to reach out for fear of losing your Top Secret clearance, damaging your promotion eligibility, or being perceived as weak—we want you to know: you are not alone. We serve peers who share your same reservations. We understand the culture of silence—and we’re here to break it, confidentially, and with honor.
